Pros Skiing at Your Home Mountain

About a week and a half ago, I was shredding with some friends at our home mountain of Snoqualmie Pass. I was an awesome day, temperatures in the 40s, and full blue. About half way through the day, we are all chilling at the medium jump line. I look over, and I see a guy on some 2014 or 15 Armada JJs with some STH 16s, and I was pretty sure I knew who he was. As he drops in switch, I look over to someone and I was like,

"wait, is that..?"

This guy responds,

"Yep, its Hornbeck!"

It was already a pretty sick day, and it just got better. It feels cool when you see a pro throwing down at your home mountain, especially when it isn't a super popular place like mammoth or park city. My question to you all who are shredding small mountains or grew up shredding one is this,

do you have any cool memories of seeing pro skiers throwing down at your home mountain?

what is going on in this thread? Its like that tabloid magazine that has pictures of celebrities shopping and is like, Look they are just like us! I always thought pros only skied on private mtns where only pros were allowed.

Wallisch, Ahmet Dadali,Hornbeck,liam Downey, Harlaut, Casabon, Bergeron, Jossi Wells, Will Wesson, Keri Herman, Devin Logan, Grete Elliason have all made appearances at our home mtn/hill at Hyland Hills in Minnesota! I can't tell you how excited I was to see these riders. Especially Wally! Gave him a big hug:)

Dumont and I think Dave Crichton and Scott Hibbert maybe came to Marble Mountain, Newfoundland where I ski now in probably 2002 with Level 1. It was in the bonus segments in Forward.

i was there that day too. the only time i saw him was when he came down under the lift one run. i was standing at the top of the last jump and i looked up to my left and saw him stomp a 2 pretz 4 out of the up rail. he then proceeded to cruise into the biggest jump on the left and short a straight air which was hilarious

That's awesome! Wonder what he's doing here. I gotcha beat though. Sammy showed up at my doorstep, along with Willie B, to surprise me on my Birthday. Cinnamon Rolls in hand! I was in shock! He's sweeter than the cinnamon rolls!

Seen episodes of traveling circus and b+e coming to hyland hills mn, where i ski and in both episodes they were amazed by the amount of laps you can get there with the tow rope haha

Absolutely no pros have come to Mount Jore, and I have yet to see any pros at Whiteface when I typically go.

Other than that, there are some photos on facebook and instagram where Todd Wallfish shot urban in downtown Albany, NY I believe back in 2011(?), which is about an hour away from me.

Nikklas Erickson and Tim Mchesney came to my home mountain Mission Ridge, which is like an hour or two away from snoqualmie I think. Nikklas messaged my friend on this one site called Facebook asking to vote for his Sick Tricks video, he responded asking if he voted for his vid that he could get his autograph, and he just so happened to be in our area so he came to our mountain. Other than them the only pros that have come to my mountain has been Glen Plake.
