Replying to 4 point landings??????

alright so im not talking about Olympics. so do you guys know a a 4 point landing, where your skis land and both of your poles land at the same time? ive been messing around with this because ive seen some guys that are really good do it. haha- so ive tried it and it helps me out a TON when dropping cliffs, bad landings, ect. . ........ now to rain on the parade, a bunch of people say this is very dangerous. how is this dangerous or whatever, and should i stop doing it?
