Help me complete my quiver (110-118mm)!

I currently own:
-Line Influence 105 (charger/all mountain)
-Joystick These (park)
-Rossignol Storm (urban)
So I'm stuck between 4 skis to complete my quiver... I'm looking for a ski that would primarily be used as my pow ski here in MI and my one ski quiver for trips outwest. Need a Jibby ski since I already have influence... I really love a ski that promotes a surfy playful style but charges hard bc of my racing backround. I am 5'11 175lbs. And ski very aggressively

Skis I've been looking at:
-Rossignol Sickle (very attractive.. Top of my list)
-On3p Jeffrey (a little expensive but doable)
-Nordica Patron (love nordica to death)
-LINE MR. POLLARDS OPUS (wider ik, but seems like a really fun ski..

Thanks for any help, I really hate posting threads like this but it's always nice to hear opinions about my options!

i think you should give the patron's a try. Ive seen a few people use them in and out of the park, also seem them all over the mountain. Since you want one ski for out west, you might hit up a park so I think they could handle it.

From my experience, Rossi "all mountain" skis don't hold an edge on groomers as well as others. Not sure about the Sickle specifically. The Bent Chetler and Pettitor are a little wider than 118 but worth looking into. Or the Shreditor 112 (112mm version of Pettitor). Pettitor is 120, Bent Chetler is 123 this year but 120 next year. And then there's the JJ and the Bibby Pro.

There aren't a lot on the market that are playful and also charge hard, but the ones I would recommend are the Jeffery 114 (2015), Patron, Faction Candide 3.0, and the Blizzard Gunsmoke. All of these four have a medium flex for playing around in powder but can definitely be trusted at high speeds on steeps. The JJ and Opus are great skis, but suck at high speeds due to their soft flex and dime size turning radiuses.

I am now realizing that all of the skis I just mentioned are on the expensive side. See if you can get them now while they are on sale, you will not be disappointed.

Another vote for the pettitor. It's soft in the tips and tails but still underfoot and I was surprised by how will it did on groomers

^^ go w/ the candied 3.0 they're awesome! also the atomic blog is a really great ski, unfortunetly i havent riden any of the skis you have listed, but ive demo'd both of these and loved them, the factions more

they held up really well on groomers, were great for going fast through crud, and they're pretty fun in the park, also the swing weight is awesome, did not feel like a 112 183cm ski, it was amazing, also pretty nimble in trees if i didnt live out east i would already have a set

Consider the Moment Deathwishes. 112 underfoot at both 184 & 190, they have a triple camber (4 contact points) so they shred hard on the groomers and hold an edge well. They can float well in pow too, if you're as good of a skier as you say you are y don't need a 120 to be able to ski the pow pow well. They are playful at a 7 flex. Also, next years models look so sick. I wish I could find an excuse to get these : http://issuu.com/zuzupopo/docs/moment_1415_singles. If you want something wider underfoot I would suggest the YLEs ,@187

The deathwishes were my original choice but I haven't heard much about them being playful or freestyle oriented...

Nop it is. Blister gear review labeled it as a "quick, playful ski that can still charge" , charge very well for that matter, so your racing background comes into check. You'll have no problem prepping yourself for a jump so you can concentrate on t.he jump itself. They compared to the Sickle in the air but a bit easier to swing. But if you truly want something playful, maybe the Opus is a better choice, but the Deathwishes are much much better at speed and charging, stable, etc whilst still being able to be very playful with the dirty moustache rocker.

Get Nordica Helldorados.
Same shape as a Patron, they just rip a lot harder due to titanium.
After riding that ski once I sold my Opus

I ride helldorados and love the shit out of them. I used to swear by my bacons, but after riding the helldorados the bacons just aren't fun anymore hahah. A buddy had the patron, and he loves them too. Helldorados are Patrons with a few sheets of metal added. I'd go for one of these for sure

I think I'm going to go with Patrons since I already have the influence 105 which is full metal... I'm looking for a surfy playful ski that charges, the patron seems to fit the bill quite nicely!

Good choice, I've heard nothing but good things about them. I think they're exactly what you're looking for. Go for the 185 if not the 193. I'm 6'-1" 200lbs and ride the 193 helldo and never feel they're too long.

Could be to do with your weight, I heard the 193s are pretty heavy, 1 pound heavier than the 193 Patrons, due to OPs size and weight I think the ski will control him more than OP controlling the ski.

You raise a valid point, the one thing I dislike is the weight of the ski, but everything else  outshines that by so much I forgot hahah. I have pivots on them so that doesn't help either.

A last suggestion OP are the ON3P Jeffreys (114), they come in 186 I believe. I haven't ridden the Helldorados but I heard they are kinda sketch in variable conditions (crud/skied up pow) but in prime conditions; groomers, clean pow, they are awesome. The tail is not that forgiving however, so you might find yourself backseating a bit in cliff drops and what not. Good luck!

So for this season, the Helldorados for me have destroyed everything I've skied, especially chopped up crud. Hands down favorite ski. You will not be disappointed in the Patron

I dunno. Within the last couple of days I've demo'd both the 112 pettitor and the soul 7, and the soul 7 performed better in all conditions but powder, I thought. To be fair, though, the pettitor was shorter a shorter length than I would have liked, so that could very well have something to do with it.

That may be true, I've heard that the Soul 7s are better at carving than older Rossis. I've only skied the S7s and Phantom SC 80s.

yeah, they're definitely better than the original S7's are, much less noodly and can be pushed harder all over the mountain. Which isn't to say the soul 7's don't have a limit, because they definitely do, but it's much higher than that of the S7's.

4frnt crj. Playful, but can still charge hard. They rip groomers and pow. They're softer in the tips, but stiffer underfoot and in the tails.
