Ok, I know this is a noob post. My friends and I are going to colorado next week and are going to ski breck and keystone. My friends have been to Breckenridge before but they say the jumps are the best part. My friends are really good at jumps while I despise them greatly and only hit rails. I am descent and rails and I am wondering if Breckenridge wont be right??? because every person there hits their jump line.

Would keystone be better? Would a rail heavy skier not fit in at all?

breck is good at EVERYTHING, yea their jumps are good, but i also ski breck almost entirely for its rails, i ski mostly vail, and when i come for spring break, i ski breck for the rails, there is tons of options, lots of boxes and rails, and i love it, so if you dont like jumps dont worry, breck has got you, especially if your only decent at rails, keystone can be nuts with some features, that kind of feeling when you look at it and are just like, who the fuck hit thats shit, hope that helps haha

I much prefer brecks jumps and their park in general to keystone but end up skiing at keystone because of the lift lines. The rails at brick are fun but pretty standard compared to some of the crazy shit at keystone. Both will be fun and they are on the same ticket so you can spend the day at both and find out what you like better.

I agree, ive never been to either, but from watching edits and such breck looks pretty standard for rails. While keystone sets up some real creative shit

Breck builds jumps properly. You should definitely spend some time on them while you're here cuz you can learn a lot. Like everyone has said, Keystone has much more creativity as far as rails go but Breck has a lot of variety as well that any level of skier can enjoy.

Breck's jumps are the best. Keystone's rails are the best, and their lift lines.

Overall park/flow, breck is better.

All the Vail resorts suck. I skied them because I got to ski them free. Breck has the biggest jumps I've seen anywhere by far. Other than that it's a kinda beginner/family/tourist area. However, the Lake Chutes are the one redeeming thing. You have to hike to get to them and they aren't always open, but the face is a 50 degree pitch, rock laced, and depending on where you drop in, a cornice drop of up to ~2 meters (6 feet+).

Keystone is just trees and groomers. The tree skiing is pretty nice there if you're into tight tree slalom. I had fun with it.

If you want to go somewhere cool in Colorado, go to Arapahoe Basin. Not much for park, and a lot smaller than the Vail resorts, but a really cool place. Good variety of terrain, and it's a place for skiers, not rich tourist faggots.

the jumps are really nice at breck, but you should see it as an opportunity to improve your jump skills and get more comfortable on some bigger jumps

Yea Breck is super awesome, great for everything, keystone not so much. you should probably just stay at Breck the whole time and not even consider going to keystone for a single day over your spring break because it is not worth it. please.

Keystone is better at both imo. More creative and flowy. Breck is pretty basic at both jumps and rails
