Help on college choice!

So I'm a freshman going to University Of Maine, and really am not digging the atmosphere, the choices in majors, and the awful two+ hour drive to ski. I am looking to go out west to further in the arts, (graphic design, photography) and get into the ski industry, and progress my skiing. I've been searching some schools, but if anyone knows or attends, colleges in either N. California, Utah, or Colorado that fits my wants, lemme know!

I recommend the University of Google.

I assume you're studying toward a bachelor's degree in "complete and utter uselessness?" You seem to possess the required skill set already.

Check out Eastern Montana Tech. I went there and majored in film and minored in asian studies. I would also check out Oregon University State College, they have an excellent film school

You're fucking right. Please tell me how reaching out to a ski community that I assume many go to schools that I'm looking for, is useless? fucking troll. And google can be a long ass process finding what I need.

There's some school in Nevada I think that has a degree in something related to ski resort management, or something like that.

How are your scores? Keep in mind that you may choose the college you apply to, but ultimately the college is the one that chooses you.

For example Davis is close to tahoe (like 1.5 hours away), Irvine is close to mountain high, and USC has a kick ass ski and board team, but they're all way more selective than UMaine is.

I'm pretty sure he was talking about how a degree in graphic design or photography is pretty much a pre-unemployment degree...

Sierra Nevada College. Incline Village Nv, two blocks from Lake Tahoe. Small school but great environment. Ski Resort Management, Environmental Sciences and Teaching are the mane draws along with the Skiing.
