I'm looking to buy a new computer and I noticed you can get a couple hundred dollars off if you buy the open box items. Has anyone ever done this and what was your experience with it?

2. Open box.
3. Return item.
4. Rebuy item you returned, but open box.
5. ???
6. Profit.

you could seriously do this. i worked at bb when i was in hs and most of the open box items are legit. they're either old display models or items that were returned within 2-4 weeks (depending on item and return policy). i've never seen any janky open items.
