I have a big comp soon and I'm thinking of trying a 3 swap. My coach tells me blind is easier because your head comes around quicker and you can see through the last 180. But I feel like a front 3 would be easier. I am more comfortable with front. Plus, front 450 is easier than bline 4. I don't know what to do. It would be on a flat down or dfd. Help?
Flat down would be easier for consistency reasons, front 3 is easier if you look down to spot the rail, make sure to have a wide enough stance when you land so you don't slip out. I've gotten front 3 swap on a flat rail once. Never over a kink.
I bet 3 swap from the flat to the down kink would be easiest. I've never tried but that's what I would think. You'd just have to adjust from flat to down.
