Replying to Any Lawyers or Law School students out there?

I'm considering pre-law in college and wanted to see what the consensus on the major is. I know it's going to be a LOT of reading and such once you get a law degree but there are many different routes to get there. I'm wondering what route any of you chose and whether you would've done something different had you known earlier. Lots of philosophy majors score higher on the LSATS than pre-law students…psychology, etc. What's your story? What would you change and why?
