i dont know what the hell the genre is, specifically, but i'm talking about movies like se7en. i want to go on an exciting, magical crime solving mystery movie binge.

Some so bad they're good ones include anything with Morgan Freeman as Alex Cross; e.g. Along Came a Spider, Kiss the Girl
Primal Fear, with Richard Gere and Ed Norton is also fucking amazing, kind of in a legit way.

I enjoyed it. For thrillers I like more of the psychological mind fuck thrillers.

I'll also second "the usual suspects".

I wish there were more good thrillers. Some of the movies in here, movies like fight club etc.


Now all these shitty tv shows (and movies) put in plot tiwsts for the sake of plot twists. The show is awesome because you never would have guessed that he wasn't shot by a gun but actually a banana, and then that he wasn't actually dead but was actually the detective investigating the crime. Sure you probably didn't see it coming, but that in no way means it's even half way decent.

Also "Dark City". Noir, thriller, sci-fi. One of the best.
