Great year for the east coast

At least some places. Anybody else get hammered this season? Upstate NY is pretty much a glacier that should hold through august/ september.

Maybe not but it seems like it. How'd errrbody else do in 13/14?

The season absolutely sucked up until like mid january, then everywhere started getting pounded with snow. Overall, it was a pretty good season.

In Ohio the mountain (really a hill) closed on march 16th. We had a 99 day season though which is great for Ohio but im so sad it's over.

Great! Was just at killington looking at Killington Mountain School and they just got dumped on, like 2+ feet! Snow was so nice and soft and edgeable compared to Mountain Creek (Northern NJ). Carving was incredibly solid and reliable (compared to carving on a round edge on ice..) and park was a blast. No bare spots so far at creek, Lets see about tomorrow though, temps are supposed to go up..

Here in mn we still have more snow in the forecast for this weekend. I'm not gonna lie im not too excited because my hill will close if they have a 3' base in april.

In Southern PA. Opened on Black Friday and closing today. Longest season for the resort. Could stay open at least one more weekend, but nobody is paying to come anymore so it isn't worth for them to stay open. Some parts of the mountain have over a 10ft base and could probably be skied in mid April.

Excited to go ski Boulder and Blue for the next few weekends.

In southern Michigan we started before Thanksgiving (earliest start in the past 20 years for our reasort) and haven't closed yet! Best ski season yet. Gotten over 30 days on hill

I skied the best powder of my life on the east coast this year, better than the storm days I skied at Jackson and Vail. The Daks are so nice right now: The slides are all in with deep fluffy snow, and I'm taking faceshots on the regular these days. People who say the east doesnt get powder need to go for a nice long hike and see what the east really has to offer.

We've gotten a lot of really light powder this year and in decent amounts. Usually the light stuff will be a few inches and the big storms will be heavy wet snow. There were some really light dry pow days of a foot + this year. The rain did some damage earlier in the season but we've just got so much snow.

Hoping next year is as good.

Killy is gonna be open till June it seems...they keep saying they're going for a record breaking season and if it keeps snowing up there, they're gonna. Everyone else will close before them due to land use restrictions and lack of customers, but the beast isn't scared.

Cannon has everything open and the glades are amazing. They are still going to close in the next 3 weeks just because they can afford to keep it open. Too bad because it would be sweet to ski into May

Gore was open at least a week after Veteran's Day and has had a great season since. I even went up there for opening day a week after getting my wisdom teeth pulled. It's been great but they're probably going to close around Easter Sunday because it costs money for the state to keep it open. Heading to Whiteface next weekend and they've been on a roll, and hopefully it'll be open until May, but it might not happen.

mass was kinda shitty, hasnt snowed in over a month but its been cold so the snow we had is still here. hopefully some snow this week tues- wed. we'll be skiing woods till april unless it gets real warm soon cant do that in most years

Northern VT reporting in, and yes. Shit tons of snow. We just keep getting these great storms rolling in, had a few really deep, really amazing pow days. Today I was talking to a partoller in the glades at Jay Peak and commented on the snow saying they'll be open for longer because of it. He just turned to me and in all seriousness said "We'll be open til May" and boarded off

I ski Whiteface in upstate (like Canada) NY and its like a damn glacier up there. Best season in years. Probably 20 days alone just on my pow boards, which is unheard-of. Whiteface's park has been nuts also, it has come a long way in the last 3 seasons.
Havent spent as much time in VT as i usualy do but i would imagine there is just about as much snow there as in upstate NY.

Rochester NY has been pretty good as far as snow goes, it's been hard getting out due to lack of money/car but season should go till the middle of April.

Even at the local hill, we've had some East Coast "pow" days this season which made it a lot of fun. Last Sunday was closing day, but considering the hill opened in November, we had not only the longest season but also the best conditions I can remember. 7 Springs is still going strong and will defnitely make it to April, with some cold weather coming up.

damn right. killy will operate at a loss they dont give a fuqq. last year they were open til may 20th or so. The snowpack is so much deeper this year, it would take a lot of consistently high temps not to beat that. im fairly certain well see June if not mid June, knock on wood

Sugarbush was struggling hard early in the season (didnt really mind just shredding a lot of park) but i got a press release saying their anticipated closing is may 4! they were open til may last year so i definitely wouldnt put it past them

I skied the best powder of my life at Jay peak over Presidents' Day weekend, 26" of fresh snow. Also skied Killington when they got dumped 24" from Vulcan a few weeks ago. Even southern PA had the best/longest season ever. First 50+ day season too

Nothing better than getting 90+ days in PA. Not sure what my actual count was for the season, but I definitely missed less than 25 days. Also still weekends in the poconos.

Okemo is 100% open and the base is incredible. Anticipated closing date was 4/15, pretty sure they are moving that to easter #420. We'll have snow well past that though, I've skied 2 spring condition days so far this year. It was cold as shit today.

awesome season for lower ny/upper NJ. I ski Creek. Had tons of snow in feb. Last pow day in Feb we were skiing the trees on Bear Peak, fucking awesome for NJ. Hasn't snowed though in over a month and snow now dwindling. A couple of storms have missed here and it seems south of here has been getting SLAMMED! Any season Creek opens on time is considered a win for them! This weekend looking sketch due to 50s and rain predicted for last this week.

The lake effect region in central NY has been getting slammed!
