New skis

Hey, this is a subject that I know get posted on alot. I would however like to address some specific issues and ask questions regarding 05 equipment. I ski alot in the park. Ive been skiing for a few years, the last 2 almost exclusively in the park. I also ski some back country, but I live in Ontario, so its not saying much. I need a shi that will hold up well on rails, and be good for hitting tables and stuff. I also need something fairly cheap since I need to buy new boots too. Recommendations can include both 03-04, 04-50 models. Thanks

Also, I forgot to mention im 6'3 and around 165 lbs if that helps. I heard about some issues on the topsheet of the public enemies. Can anyone tell me more about that? Also whats the flex like and stuff. Thanks.

Just called the shop I usually go to and they told me they have the Pep Fujas model for $409.00 That ski any good? I wanna be able to use it for jumps and backcountry stuff as well as rails and boxes, so I asume I want a fairly stiff flex. Thanks for your help.

I am a park rat, but are the Fugatives good enough to hold up for maybe a couple seasons on jumps as well? Hows their flex..since theyve got that weird flex pattern for nose and tail presses? Would the PE be a better choice?

never ridden fujatives but I hear they're pretty soft and have low torsional rigidity, which might not be the best thing for the east coast

pe, it's stiffer for skiing the rest of the mountain or on ice, but soft enough for the park, and pretty durable on rails in terms of the base and edges. fuji's are just way too soft to ski on fast or on hard snow.

pe are supposd to be good but I have to stand by my AR5s they are so great. I have the 05s they handle great really light and are real strong. and stiff

Skied my new Armadas yesterday. They were super sick! Been skiing on 164 Line 1260s and I went with 180s so it was a bit of an adjustment. The topsheets held up really well, just got a bit scratched, not a single gouge. The flex was pretty good and held me up on some backseat landings. The AR5s carve like nothing else. Great in the park as well as just riding groomers. Tried riding them in the pipe, they seemed maybe a bit stiff, but I couldn't tell too well cause the pipe sucked. Edges proved to be a bit to sharp for rails, I'll have to get them dulled or ski them a while. I also have to try them out in the 'Ontario backcountry' and see how they handle. They're pretty wide, so they should be decent. Thanks for everyone's help. Peace.
