Replying to Bag Design

Got a quick question for everyone. Im in a textiles class for a design program and i have to design and fabricate a "hobbies bag." I want to make a ski bag but not one to ski with, something to travel with that organizes all the crap. More of a street wear bag. I'm just wanting to know what features people like in a bag (pockets, buckles, velcro or zippers, Etc)? Style of bag (backpack, duffle, over the shoulder)? Materials (Cordura, Leather, Duck Cloth, Etc)? Any help would be much appreciated and result in some +k. Thanks.
