Marker Jesters

Hey guys.

Long story short, I tore the baseplate in two pieces (yeah, the metal) last week seshing a pvc rail at my buddy's. I was using salomon bindings that were about 8 seasons old.

Anyway, I'm now looking at the Marker Jester's that are on sale on Evo and was wondering what anyone else thought of these bindings? Also, when it says to choose a size (either 110 or 130 mm), what does that mean? I'm unfamiliar with how size is measured when it comes to bindings so any help there would be nice.

I'm 6'4, 175 lbs, skiing the Scott Punisher Jib from 2012

Were you just using an old z series heel? If so those base plates crack all the time. Cost 10 bucks to replace if you don't want all new bindings at this time of year.

Oh and the sizes are brakes so both way to big for your skis. If you get those jesters you will need some smaller brakes too

110mm brake or 130mm brake corresponding to the waist of your skis.

Marker makes solid products. Jesters are SICK! By far the best binding I've ever been on. I'm on my third season with them and there have been zero issues.

I'm not a big fan of marker, I kept breaking the plastic parts on them so I gave up and swapped over to Rossignol. But some people seem to have really good experiences with Marker. So I guess the only input I can give is that they weren't doing it for me and now I am in love with Rossignol bindings haha.

Yeah if you get Griffons they wont last a season if you're an aggressive skier.  The plastic heelpiece will definitely break from constant edge contact.  The Jesters have a magnesium heelpiece though and they're super solid.
