Last weekend I tried my first misty 5, just kinda hucked it into some powder but still. I'm 14 and I'm wondering what age did you guys start trying these tricks?
Catch up to what? Just keep working to progress for yourself. If your trying to "catch up" to a pro or competition level then you've got the wrong idea. People will start to notice if your riding really stands out.
I'm 24 now and will not try to learn these...for the reasons shown in this thread lol. I do want to learn cork 3's though because they are so flowy and smooth. Not about to huck myself and learn stuff like kids do nowadays, or some of you did when you were 13 as shown here.
i didnt attempt an inverted trick until i was 76. id always been scared to do one on the wood skis we used growing up but by that point i figured 'fuck it, my dick doesnt work, the gays are getting married and ill prolly be dead in a year or so might as well give those plastic twin tippers a try.' i went for a misty 5, sent it to the gucci and broke both my hips.
