I have never had experience with ollie on rails since they do not have them at my park. Im going to a mountain that only has them soon. How hard are these rails? any tips?
Don't be afraid. They're going to be a bit intimidating at first but just hit them with a bit more speed than you would normally and do the 90 on. You'll have it in no time
The biggest part to get over will be the fear that your tips will get stuck. Just put that out of your mind because even if they do catch a little, it's easy to recover from
come in at a very slight angle, almost parallel. pop out, not up and spin onto the rail. at least for me once i stopped trying to pop up on the start of the rail and started poping out to the middle of the rail i got it.
I just stated hitting these and the thing that helped me the most was hopping over the rail first (not even trying to get on it) just to show yourself that you can do it. Ollie on rails are way easier then you would think.
