I broke a set of brakes on my FKSs but luckily they were under warranty and it was a factory defect so they replaced em. I have been told its a pain to get ahold of new ones though. Some people I've talked to say you can try and buy up old pairs of FKSs that are used to scrap for parts since its cheaper.
yeah that's about right. The way it works is you get an entire new baseplate with a bigger/smaller brake and then you screw the heel piece into it. It's expensive but at least better than a shop saying they can't do it which is what used to be the case. At least that 150 isn't just for the brake itself, you get a whole new baseplate.
Yeah but if you snap a break it's annoying have to pay that much when all you need is a brake. I still think 40 for a brake is expensive but if I had to pay 150 every time I would be furious with Rossi.
