Ya and Humboldt is SO far away. There is no way you can find anything there. What's a guy to do? I base all of my life's decisions on herb....... Yep Tahoe sucks.... Stay away.
Both are awesome, both have their pluses and minuses. I like Colorado due to the consistent snow. There's also tons of sunshine. On the other hand, Tahoe has a lot of sunshine as well and when it snows, it nukes. However, it seems you have more of a chance of a really pathetic snow year like this one. But it's steeper, gnarlier, and can dump feet at a time. Also, Colorado tends to stay colder more so you don't get the huge dumps followed by high temps that turns it to mashed potatos like what can happen at Tahoe.
Lived in Keystone for a year, and then in Tahoe for 3 years.
Both are rad, but Tahoe is so fucking cool dude. However, if Tahoe continues to get shitty winters, then it could start sucking in the winters pretty quickly.
The snow the last three years in tahoe has not been that great. I can not vouch for calobrahbro bout tahoe is always a beautiful area with good vibes. And Now after skiing bear in so-cal it makes me appreciate Tahoe so much more.
Yup.......totally agree. Sucks because its sunny, good snow, great parks and mountains all around. Yea shitty place alright. Everyone should move to Tahoe. Or should i say back to Tahoe, Colorado is overrun with Californians.
Folks move to tahoe for the winters, but end up staying there because of the summers.
Lake Tahoe is 60+ degrees and sunny for 6 months out of the year. good or bad? It has a very West Coast/California feel to it. It gets 300 day of sun per year, generally is paradise in the summers.
Colarado has much more of a mountain feel to it, has longer winters but less snow- both tahoe and CO stay open till early may-june. BC is "safer" in tahoe, but is better in CO. If you want a true mountin/ski bum type season CO woul be your best bet. If you wanna slay the GNAR come to tahoe. If you wann slay the park to CO. If you arent borderline pro at either, come to tahoe.
Tahoe for sure. Colorado is a bunch of rich tourist faggots skiing 20mph on shallow groomers. Tahoe is awesome terrain and awesome skiers. You should also consider Utah. And maybe Washington/Oregon.
