Me and 2 other friends are coming to stevens for a couple days this thursday through sunday. Anyone know of some forest service land that's in a good location for us to camp?

Camp in the upper-lot if you're car camping. If not, then go towards Leavenworth/Lake Wenatchee/Wenatchee.

Tent camping unfortunately. Don't have a big enough car for 3 people.

There is a good free campground in Index right on the river.

We ended up camping right at the start of the skin track/snowshoe trail by the parking lot on the other side of the highway. Worked out alright.
