I've decided on getting a a pair of ON3P Jeronimo's. The only thing is, is that i've seen people talking about the sizing of the skis (how there different?). Just wanna know how you measure them.
ON3P sizing = stand ski against a wall, drop a measure tape from tip to floor. Length of tape = listed length of ski.
Other companies measure base length (tape from tip to tip around, flat on the base of the ski, hence longer), some others just make it all up apparently. Get a meter stick and mark a wall at 171, 176, 181, 186cm - measure up, lean longer due to rocker and click 'order'.
op could do either a 181 or 176. depends how fast you want to ski and how big of jumps you want to hit. if everything is smaller/mellow, you will have fun with the short length. if you want a big safe ski that slays huge features, get the bigger one.
so i'm about 5.5. way about 115. currently ride 151 because i got them two years ago, a lot shorter back then. I plan to maybe grow a few inches when next skiseason comes around. ride mostly rails if that matters..
so 161 or 171? just conserned about 161 because rockered skis ride short.
