i don't know if this has been posted before or not.. but what's the deal with x-mas? why x-mas and not christmas? is it supposed to be bleeping Christ in CHRISTmas to not relate it to christians as to be fair to non-christians? a little ridiculous don't you think?

well acutally xmas is used just because its shorter than typing or writing out christmas. And the reason ive always thought of xmas is because of christ, like chris cross = xmas. Hahah yea so there ya go

the whole arguement that it's too shorten it is pretty debunk. I have yet to see anyone write xeen for halloween. Halloween is the same amount of letters as Christmas and let's not forget Thanksgiving, or a great many other holidays.

X-mas was started because there are people who are extremely anti-christian and they dislike the word 'christ' in christmas. So they started X-mas. Now it's gone so far that I've had people actualy get upset with me for saying 'Merry Christmas' instead of 'Happy Holidays'

I say if you don't beleive in Christmas, then don't celebrate it instead of trying to change it.
