What should i put into a summer setup? I want to get good at rails and just 180s,360s,540s on a small jump. How should i make the rail and jump interchangeable? How long should a rail be? How big should my drop in be? Thanks for any tips and help
Yeah a jump will just be a waste of time.. Just make a drop in out of whatever you can get your hands on as long as you can get enough speed. And a 15-20 foot PVC pipe with a 5-10 inch diameter would work well.
8 foot rails and use PVC. I don't think u will be able to make the jump as a lip to the rail. and u must have a big hill or drop in for a jump to do 540s on.
Skip the jump. You'd need a huge drop in, a landing, some sort of decent surface.
If you could get your hands on some snoflex or dendex, one of those inflatable wedges from the carnival games like the ladder thing, and build a drop in around the 15' range you could get something going. Unless you go balls out and do something ridiculous to make it functional it just wouldn't be worth it.
With minimal $$$ you can build a pretty solid drop in and rail setup. Invest in miter saw drill and other goods, a bunch of 2x4s and just go to town.
drive around your town and pick up a ton of pallets, slap those bitches together in a ramp style manor. toss some indoor outdoor carpeting on it and bam got your self that drop in. now for the rails obviously pvc screwed to a 2x4 is the only way to go. make like 2 0f these at 5 foot lengths so you can have a 5 footer or a 10 footer and dont even bother with a jump in the summer.
Threads for when I get home on the weekend and can post the best setup you have ever seen. Definitely do not make a jump, its pretty unrealistic to do 540s on a setup. Focus on your rail and or box game, will definitely help.
