The lineup I've been waiting for! IMO best lineup of the last 5 years. So many good bands it's insane to have them all on one bill. I guess I'll be making my return to bridgeport.

The lineups were alright but not THAT sick the last few years and the area is a little trashy but this lineup is too much for me to skip.

Maybe I'll run into some nsers there. Also be careful at vibes 6 up, 6 up.

I can't wait to see what they can even add to this lineup. I wish Ryan Monetbleau Band was still together. Hoping he'll get in on collabs.

Band maybe you haven't heard of but need to check out. Twiddle and Dopapod are both younger bands on the rise. Check them out because they keep getting better and they're good guys. Check out Dumpstaphunk and if you aren't having fun you're doing something wrong. Leftover Salmon is one of my favorite bluegrass related bands, they kill it. Hoping they get a nice day set. Kung Fu is one of the best bands you can see but forever underrated, they aren't getting any bigger but if you check them out you'll know why I mentioned them.

I honestly don't understand why kung-fu hasn't blown up yet. They absolutely kill it. Everytime I have seen them they have consistently blown me away. I didn't used to love twiddle but just saw them again for the first time in a year and a half and they have seriously stepped up their game.

its going to be amazing. I'm just happy I bought my camping pass already because they are going to go fast now. Kinda bummed that lesh isnt on the line up this year, I always love listening to him, but I'm happy to have umph and moe back.

All that's missing from that lineup is Max Creek and Galactic. Otherwise it would be perfect, not sure if I can make it down this year but godamnit Ill try.

I think twiddle is still a little overrated. They were a lot more a while back. They're consistently getting better though and finally starting to match the hype.

they have some serious talent, I think they could def write some better songs. I can see them going places though.

Twiddle Twiddle Twiddle Twiddle...best band that youve probably never heard of, will end up being huge i can guarantee it. Enjoy them while theyre still young and playing smaller shows cause they will blow up in a year or two

Don't forget umphreys McGee either..My ex just hit me up last night asking if I'm interested in camping there because her co worker is selling tickets REAL cheap cause she can't go. But I have work. I want to say fuck work but that's a bad idea haha.

New Zealand working at a mountain down here.

As dumb as it sounds legit thought about not going and hitting vibes and phish terrr.


The lineup is just too goo. I was going to try and stream it but my internet connection is fucking horrible here. Hopefully next year my head will be straight and I can hit scamp, waka and other before I leave. MAybe an early phish terr like 09 as well.

Different scenes. Vibes is all about the jam bands. Personally I don't like slighty stoopid very much. There are way better jah bands...

Slightly Stoopid will be good but they definitely won't draw the biggest crowd for this fest. The fest itself started as "Deadhead Haven" before it was gathering of the vibes and has always been geared towards deadheads and jam fans. Naturally the best jam bands are gonna be at the top of that list. My bet is the most attended show at the fest will be the biscuits (although I'm not a huge fan of them) or Widespread Panic.

Twiddle plays around Magic a lot. They played my buddy's 3rd annual 50th birthday party and we almost blew them up with fireworks haha... Their funk jams are the stuff of legend though, great group of guys for sure.

ended up finding VIP camping passes for cheaper than regular camping and had a blast. it was my first time seeing most bands but some personal highlights were lotus, widespread panic, orgone, and karl denson late night

I haven't seen lotus in a couple year.. I used to see them a decent amount but they kind of jumped it for me. Down to give them another shot.

Panic always is good. Only seen orgone a few times but they're good shit. They played a renegade campground set at moe.down in 2010 till 5 or 6 am.

Kdtu is always good for a latenight spot to move your feet and get down.

I heard the biscuits set and panic set were both awesome. Wishing I had just dumped all my money and flown back for that shit. FUCK

Lotus absolutely killed it. They were billed as "lotus: talking heads deconstructed". They had a fake David Byrne and would play a couple talking heads songs that would tease into some classic lotus songs and then back into talking heads. They played a few straight up lotus songs too. Definitely listen to it on the archive. Here is the setlist:
