Unlock iphone... Help needed!

I have an AT&T iphone 4. I'm not the original owner and never have been an AT&T customer... I want to use this phone with tmobile but it needs to be unlocked. I do have find my iphone off and I am jail broken. Anyone know of a way to do this?

does not work... you have to put it in a bowl full of water for at least 5 minutes, and then microwave it for 5 minutes.

You need to get the original owner to call ATT and unlock the phone. When they call, ATT will unlock the phone immediately as long as they can prove that they were the original owner. I think they may ask for billing address, last four of SSN, etc.

Call AT&T and ask them if they'll unlock it. The worst they can say is no. Otherwise, like akim said, contact the original owner and have them do the unlock for you

Sticky rails and iPhone unlocking can be done in the same manner, simply apply a heavy layer of goat semen on the screen, and your phone will be unlocked in no time

What Everybody else said could probably work, but unfortunately there is a chance that it can't be unlocked due to the contract. The point of the contract is so that, in this case, AT&T used the contract because they would have sold the iPhone to the original owner at a cheap price, because they would have a guarantee that they would still receive money from the phone. There would be a possibility that it will remain locked because AT&T wants their money. :(
