Bronson.Old owner of Epic Planks. Hence the name "Revision". Looks like he's doing it right this time. Team looks pretty well stacked and the product is nice. On the up and up.

VinnieFunless they meant "For the price we want them build we can source higher quality production skis from China than we can through outsourcing via factories in North America."
frankcolderLooks like theirs another up and coming brand of skis coming out next fall. Anyone know anything about them? team? company location? interesting to see another brand pop up, hoperfully they can make an impact on the industry. But from the looks of their website though..who knows. http://revisionskis.com http://vimeo.com/78066845

VinnieF" What we found is that we can source higher quality production skis from China than we can through outsourcing via factories in North America."
not to call bullshit, but bullshit.
theabortionatorJust because something is made in china doesn't mean it's trash and just because it's made in NA doesn't mean it's high quality.
VinnieFNo, but I find it difficult to believe one can't find somewhere in North America that can make a pair of skis of equal quality to what you can get from China.
ndyeYeah, but at $199.
Lots of ski companies make a top notch ski here in the US, yes. And you can. But not for the same price, which in the end affects business. I just cant afford a 500 or 600 dollar ski. So I'll take the same quality of a ski at 200, with the only difference being it was made overseas.
VinnieFPrice was never mentioned. It was just said that they can't find someone who can make them at the same level of quality as from China. Also their normal price is about 500.
RevisionSkisIt is absolutely slim pickings and the product you get is lower quality and higher price than what you can find overseas.

jpastorthe skis seem really great. But im concerned about the price point, usually when skis are priced this cheaply they are not very durable. I would love to know how they compare to like an icelantic, moment, on3p
DrailStiffness is relative to the company. Begat does an 8 stiffness mean in the grand scheme of things. And without carbon stringers, how long till the stiffness turns into noodles. I want to buy, I'm just apprehensive.
grmwbbThey're selling them at the price it cost to make them... Thats why they are so cheap. I would say this price has nothing to do with durability
rballs_are there any reviews on these puppies yet? The subtraction looks like a hoot and a half and the graphics are dope!
