Dont get a helmet that is too big!

I saw a kid in garts today that was buying a helmet too large for his head, only cuz his mom said he will grow into it. I of course had to give him the lecture about how Its less dangerous to go without a helmet, than one is too big for your head. Just remember that, cuz helmets are supposed to save your life, not kill you. Make sure youre getting one that fits.

Good point man, but I guess the helmet would still protect you from objects like rocks and roots... but if you're smackin your head on the snow the snow would be softer than the helmet.

yeah, that kids mom should be hit, you cant skimp on things like helmets, if you are buying one you need to care, and it needs to fit tight, end of story.
