Third hole damage

Have any of you guys noticed knee damage from skiing? I want to hear from everyone, but you guys who put in the most runs year round, what is the long term damage, if any? And is it detrimental to your other athletic endeavors?

I'm no expert, but I'm pretty confident that there have been zero reported instances of skiers hurting their knees.

For a couple days after an icy day when the landings on jumps are hard, my knees usually hurt

I have no clue why, but when I squat up and down I get weird crackly noises and it'll hurt. Also, walking up stairs hurts a little now.

My knees are fucked from years of skiing/snowboarding and other sport abuse.

That said totally worth it.
