I just stumbled across this video while "studying for finals" and had my mind blown twice.
This video shows both how stoked Shane was on the Volant Spatula (the ski where he first incorporated the rocker concept and reverse sidecut) and then the book which he is handed is a first draft of GNAR. He seems to be pumped about life but I don't know that anyone could have predicted how fundamentally rocker could affect ski design and how wildly GNAR would catch on. Anyways hate me, love me, maybe appreciate the video for the turning point in ski history that it captures or just toss it aside.
