I'm starting a new goggle company. I can't come up with a good name for the life of me. I'm trying to crowd source a decent one here on NS. The only ones I can come up with suck

(It will be a wide lensed goggle like the canopy or the eg2. My first target market is park riders/ski bums)

I foresee bigger problems in your future if you need NS to create your company name for you.

Also giving someone a pair of goggles for naming your company is a huge ripoff for them. If you are actually trying to start something, do it right.

dude when u look at all company names, they're either initials, name of the dude(s) or a name that the creator chose because it means something to him and the product he's created. They don't just brainstorm on the sickest sounding marketing name they can find without taking those into account.

that being said, "weather converters" so WC optics, as in even if it's super sunny or foggy, it doesn't seem like it thanks to your awesome goggles. hook me up and the name's yours (i want my pro model tho)

You mean another goggle with a spherical lens?

Unless you have something unique to offer (super low price, even wider fov, or something revolutionary one way or another) I can't see your company doing so hot, especially if a name you considered was Whis-Jah.

Lol whis-jah definitely not a considered name bud. I was saying i couldn't think of a name i liked when i threw it out there. And you got it! to hit this niche right it's got to have a unique value. I got that covered man thanks. (price + spare lens).

If you have any more input don't hesitate. It's not that I am to dumb to come up with names or ideas. Business and marketing is about listening to your target market and finding a niche. Even though I am my target market it always helps to hear a variety of opinions.

price + spare lens isn't a "niche" or anything unique about your "company" because smith does it all the time. the person that gave you feedback is correct, you're bringing nothing to the table that hasn't been done before. you won't survive against big companies, especially because big companies are very trusted in their lens standards (impact, clarity, visibility, etc.) and some have an almost cult like following

1/10 mr wonderful wouldn't invest

Alright, I hate goggles.

I hate skiing park with goggles because I hate having my vision cut off. If you can make a goggle that has the FOV greater than any other brand then i'd prob buy a pair.
