So I've probably been living under a rock, but just found out there is a new (shorter) season of 24 coming out. Anyone else stoked to see Jack Bauer torture, shoot and kill his way through whatever terrorist network is threatening America?

24 was cool for a second but they were smart to cancel it shit was getting played out, not sure how it'll be.

I used to watch 24 with my parents throughout high school while I was younger, I'm trying to finish all the seasons before watching this however I'm not sure if that will happen. I'm stoked though!

I mostly agree with you. When they cancelled it, I had pretty much lost interest, but now I'm ready for more. Will it be another rehash of the same general plot? Yes. Does it matter? Not at all.

holy fuck! i've been living under that same rock! ironically enough, i'm on season 6 of my 2nd or third time through the series on netflix as i type this. i fucking love watching jack bauer break every single rule possible to torture and kill his way through a day of saving 'murka. it's awesome, action packed, brainless television...and sometimes that's all i'm looking for.

can't fucking wait!

I got really into 24 but realized it was so bad after I'd finished it, especially the last 3 seasons or so. I'm sure I'll watch and love this though

of course it's bad...but it's also awesome. i mean, how many times can Bauer say, "PLEASE so & so, you have to trust me. I give you my word...now PLEASE let me do my job" and have it work?

but if you're looking for brainless, action packed, conspiracy theory/spy thriller tv, it definitely delivers there.....
