jibij charges 15 for mounting, go there. If you live far away try different shops until they price match, one of them will be chill.
Defenitely make them give you new tm's new brakes no alternatives. When he hands them to you turn around and walk out take them to the chill shop and let the dick know he made a big mistake and word of mouth is in effect.

so i called yesterday and talked to a guy who did not do the actual work, because the guy who did my work conveniantly had surgery yesterday. so i am unable to talk to the guy who did this shit because he's just getting out of surgery and im not a dick. so i talk to some other guy and tell him they fucked up and its bullshit. they mounted the bindings +3 instead of +2, which not only is not my preference but also makes a second set of holes. the reason for this was obviously unclear and he scribbled some retarded reason down on the sheet. they also put wide brakes on for an extra charge-also bullshit. thirdly the wax job was terrible, and i paid for a full tune so that was gay too. so the guy sees that im not gonna back down and tells me to bring them back to the shop, i say no, im not wasting more time and money on this shit, and so he tells me to bring them down into my town to their sister shop which doesnt have a ski dpt, so an employee will drive them up for him to look at. so last night i do that and today they get the skis, and call me, and its a third guy, so i explain the problems again and tell him he's def gonna need to fix this shit, and show him he's not gonna be able to BS me like most of the ignorant customers. so he's like ok we'll fix it all, and give you a call. and when they call back i'm obviiously gonna make sure everything's in perfect shape and not let them fudge anything, andi'm definitely gonna tell them i need a refund. so i'll tell you how that goes tomorrow.

that sucks, i know how bad Ma is for ski shops, i was promised by a skimarket guy that the poles he sold me would be strong, and if they did bend they had some memory in them and would bend back. they broke the 3rd day i skiied them, needless to say next chance i get im going over and bitching the hell out of them. My only regret is that they weren't carbon, because if they were, they would have shattered and i could shove all the sharp slivers so far up the reps ass that he would have shat blood for a year

well the main guy called me today...i explained the problems... and he's going to mount them where i wanted them with heli coils if need be, put reg brakes on, give them a deluxe tune, and only charge me like 30 bucks total. so the moral of the story is, they def satisfied me and the squeaky wheel gets the grease

you shouldn't have remounted them. an extra cm forward makes no difference at all, except that now you have 16 holes in each ski instead of 8, and they're right next to each other. but as far as the brakes, nice work bitching him out.

thats the point! they were mounted +2 before, and i wanted them new bindings mounted there too. so mounting at +3 was what making the extra holes. moving them back to the original holes was no worse.
