Anyone else seen this movie? It's absolutely horrible as fuck but totally awesome because it has giant fighting robots called jaegermeisters or jaegerbombs or something, punching giant kaiju monsters in the mouth, and swording them in the ass.

so fucking stupid, yet so fucking awesome to my 7-year-old self...

The whole 'drift compatability' shit was just retarded beyond belief.

I mean, OBVIOUSLY it's one thing if the power rangers are driving a zord, which is made of 5 different other things, and each dude is responsable for their portion of the mecha...

but when two guys need to drive the same fucking thing like a tandem bike? that's fucking dumb as hell.

Should have been more like Gundam or the OG transformers, but with way longer, awesomer fight scenes that included far more punching giant monsters right in the nads, and way less stupid as hell dialogue that made me want to stab a pregnant sea otter..

the badassery of the entire concept was so neutered...

also, I'm pretty sure the storyline was written by a drunk fratboy being that it had jaeger all over...

I went into Pacific Rim with no expectations other than seeing badass and amazingly animated robots fight aliens. Every thing else was just hilarious filler and I have no qualms with that.

pretty fucking dope, albeit retarded. But i still like it more than transformers because it never even tried to be grown up. It just kind of accepted it was a shitty plot, went with it, and had awesome fights on the streets of Tokyo between massive mech bots and aliens.

Well, I mean one of the robots names was 'Gipsy Danger' so.... it's not far off. That name is totally for strippers.

it's basically like porn for an pyromanical 6 year old that likes destroying his micro machines and blowing up his lego castles by pretending he's a giant robot or a kaiju...

Also, I love the romantic storyline haha. All this built up tension and they don't even hook up for the first time in movie history...

What about when the dude was like WHAAAOOOOAAA and the Kaiju was like RARRRRRRRR and the robot took the shipping crates and smashed it in the face! and the thing went BOOOOOOM and all the things fell down with a BAAAANGBOOSHBWOAAAAA and the ocean went wooooosh? and the guy went PEW PEW PEW with the lazer gun that was way too slow! and then the Kaiju goes BWAAAAAHH and rips off the robot's rocket forearm and flys them into the sky and then they bust out the SWORD and it goes AAAHHHHHH

also, i didn't realize it had jax from sons of anarchy until it started.
