zzzskizzzI'll change the direction of this thread, can we talk about the amount of garbage in the ocean. Have any of you people realize the amount of masses of garbage seen that were mistaken for plane debris. If we keep polluting the ocean like this it could seriously wipe out all of us with on the next 50 years.

Dildy: "Dick you can't believe everything a report tells you, I have just speculated that Tyson is fighting for the Fins in this conflict. The plane is being speculated to be in Finland now with Mike Tyson."
first of all, don't listen to what the news says about the whole thing because most of them have no idea what they are talking about. first of all over in that part of the world radar doesn't really exist, and if it does its the US navy's. the only way they know where the plane is, is when the pilot contacts them and tells them. so when they start to say where it was going they are simply guessing. Secondly, the people that they interview are usually retired guys that will say anything for them to get on the news.
hijacking the plane doesn't make much sense, although it would make for an interesting story. why would someone hijack a plane and then just disappear with it and about 300 people. they need somewhere to land and refuel where no one would ask questions about a 777 with a big Malaysian logo on the side and besides no one really hates Malaysia at least not like people hate the US.
i think it could be possible that the plane lost pressure and the oxygen masks were deployed but the pilot did not start the flow of oxygen in the 45 seconds that it takes before you start to pass out. in my opinion the plane is either in the ocean or on land at least 300 miles from where anyone is looking. but that's just me

There are almost 1,200 Boeing 777s flying around the world. 1 crashed without a trace. Suppose it crashed because of a design flaw or some sort of aircraft error. Do you think maybe it's important to figure out if the other few hundred could potentially crash for the same reason?
Not to mention it's interesting just because of the mystery of it. Commercial airliners don't just disappear into thin air

So it looks like they might have found an actual piece of the plane. I guess they still need to check serial numbers with databases and stuff and it's only a tiny piece, but it's more that anything else that's been found over the past year and a half.
