Whaddup. I'm thinking about getting next years Nordica Soul Rider, however, I'm currently riding the 2011 K2 Revival. The jump would be from 121 / 90 / 115 to 134 / 97 / 124. Do you guys think I should stick to a similar ski to the one I'm riding now? I ski mostly park and groomers. 80% rails 20% jumps, if that helps. Thanks.
not sure if I'd agree with that. If OP likes doing excessive amounts of switch ups or big spins out (450+), he'd probably be happier with something around 86 underfoot.
Yeah I must agree with this. Big fat park skis can be fun but they will not replace a narrower park ski for big tricks. But I can see the appeal if you can only have one pair of skis. Most park skis suck all mnt so going for a wider ski that can rip all mnt and still be fun in the park could be an attractive package.
I switched from anthems (93) to the soul riders this year and there was a slight difference. I favour the wider skis because I've never been one to do 4s out or crazy switch ups. I'm more of a 50-50 type person and surface swaps. If the ski your looking for is a playful ski that can rip all mountain too, the soul rider is damn near perfect.
