Hi Bread N Butter,
No camp anywhere gets more skiing than campers at COC. We groom our park every night and have a professional park maintenance staff that constantly tune the park all day so braking bumps and such are taken care of before they form. Our paid dig crew aren't trading digging for access so they are there to make a perfect park every day, not work on their skiing skills. Because we have our park ready to session the second you roll off the lift at 8:15AM and it's groomed by our maintenance staff all day, you can train right till 3PM. At Momentum they groom once at the start of camp and once in the middle of camp and have a volunteer dig crew. Because they groom so little, when you arrive every morning, you have to do multiple runs where you side slip the park before you can start training, so your training is usually starting at about 10AM. Same goes at the end of the day. Because their park needs to be slid by the campers and coaches, they traditionally cut off training at about 2:00-2:30 so that they can side slip the braking bumps that have formed.
We do lunch at the top of the park so you can grab a quick lunch and get back to sending it as soon as possible. Momentum goes for lunch in the lodge which wastes about 45 minutes to an hour of your day. So if you want the most riding in the best park, design and maintenance, you'll want to be at COC. If you add it up, by the end of the week you have been coached the equivalent of at least 18 hours longer than at Momentum. That's over two days more skiing in a week
The COC park is on a mellower pitch so we can put various rail lines together so you can ride many different rails per run and then change it up the next run so you can ride something different. We've also designed our park to have little HIke Zones, so you can stop and session a feature or features for a while without having to ride the life. Yes we do get a little bit longer lift lines than Momentum, but the lines only really form when Momentum campers start riding our lift on the way to their lunch in the lodge.
We have the largest variety of small, medium and large jumps as well as the greatest variety of rails of any park anywhere. It's part of the reason we have so many pro athletes, and national teams train with us. It's how COC campers and coaches won 5 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze at Sochi, sweeping the men's slopestyle for skiing and snowboarding. Former COC coaches are head coaches of the US slopestyle and halfpipe team so you can be certain that you will be getting the best coaching available. Who know's, maybe your coach is the next national team coach.
COC has more rails with COC and Momentum's rails being of the same quality.
Great coaches, the most amount of time getting coached and the largest and best park with the most variety of features makes COC the best ski camp to come to for your desired progression.
Hope to see you this summer.
