Relationship Dilemma

alright so here's the whole story in a nutshell. basically i have been dating this same girl for years. however, i met a girl a couple months ago who could very well be my soulmate. the issue is we are both in long term, committed relationships, but im pretty sure she feels the same way about me. so my question is what should i do? +k for good advice

Leaving someone for someone else is such a shitty thing to do, but I understand it happens. Personally, if it aint broke, dont fix it. But if you feel as if you truly want to do it, then wait a couple months before hopping into another relationship. dont make it obvious.

well before i even met this other girl my current girlfriend and i have been having troubles and im not really sure where it's going but I obviously dont want to ruin what i have for no reason.

If you're feeling that way it's a clear indicator you're with the old bimbo rather than the new soulmate

talk to this girl about your feelings, see if they're reciprocated, if not, stay with old bimbo. If they are, dump old bimbo, stick your bimbo in new soulmate

Things to consider:

What feels right to you?
Are you you sure you're not just infatuated with the concept?
Do want to be safe or adventurous?
If you got to know her more, would you still feel the same way?
Are you completely happy with your current girlfriend? Could it maybe be time for a change of pace?
You could lose both of them
What are your values? Would you consider cheating on your girlfriend in order to see if things work out? (wouldn't recommend it, but I don't judge)
Where do you see the relationship with your current girlfriend going? Would you marry her?

Do what you will, just do what feels true to you.

sounds like youre dating the girl youre with because its comfortable and not because its really what you want to be doing. change can be scary as shit, especially in a situation where you would be changing something that youve become so accustomed to over a period of years.

i went through a situation like that for a year and a half and looking back on it i cant believe i let it drag on that long when it so obviously wasnt what i wanted.

id say if you really are feeling like this other girl is your soulmate you should definitely start by reevaluating the relationship you are in now. does the girl youre with really make you happy? do you feel like you can be completely honest with her? what would you really be losing if you werent with her?

another thing i would just say is if you do decide to break up with your girlfriend try not to pin all your hopes on this other girl. definitely tell her how you feel but once you do, she has to make the decision on her own about what she wants to do with her relationship situation. if it works out then thats awesome but if it doesnt then just try to move on. i know people say this all the time but there are a ton of great girls in the world and even though this girl might seem like your soulmate to you right now youll be able to find that feeling again if it doesnt work out.

sometimes shit like that happens when you wont even be looking for it. ive been dating my girlfriend for two years now and im incredibly happy. but if you had told us back when we were just friends that we would have ended up in love we both probably would have laughed in your face
