Hi guys! Swedish guy living in Switzerland skiing the Swiss Alps. I currently ride Line Prophet 98s however I want something wider in my search for good pow. I am an advanced skiier who skis fast and aggressive and I am looking for something in the 115-122 underfoot region. I am 5ft11/12 and I weigh 154 pounds so I'm not that buff.
I am looking for a powder ski that can ski like a carving/sharp turn ski on the groomers and whatever else.
I have searched the net for next years skis (I am sadly missing the Armada, K2 and Atomic Brochures for next years lines so if anyone can help me out that would be great!) and I have found some that have caught my eye so if anyone can give short elaborations on the skis that would be great and which size would suit me! I guess I'm looking for a slightly stiff ski? Right?
I don't think I need to go in the 190+ region as I dont think I can guarantee I will be charging down backcountry a lot, so something in the 184s-189s will be better as I can control them in terms of turns/carving, etc.
4FRNT YLE H: 187
Moment Bibby Pro: 186 & (maybe) Exit World 190s
Line Magnus Opus 188 or Pollard's Opus 185
ON3P Billy Goat 186 (116 underfoot)
Liberty (not so sure about these either Double Helix or Origin however they are both 190)
and finally skis which I don't have heights to or proper underfoots to ( apart from the Petittor:120) are:
K2 Pettitor , Armada JJs and the Atomic Bent Chetler.
I have a friend who is sponsored by Faction skis and I can demo them whenever I want so I don't particularly want to go for them.
Also so a pair of Majesty Lumberjacks (120) on the internet today which looked interesting.
Thanks for your help!
