we all want to cry about it now, but in all honesty did a lot of us support them as we do armada or line? Im sad they are closed down because it sucks to see any ski company go bankrupt, but i know i never bought product from them, and i dont even personally know somebody who owns a pair. Nevertheless, sad thing

Easy answer for all this little kids and asshole skiers continue to buy skis from big brands that eats the market and dont let good ski brands like fatypus to continue in the bussines , sad to hear this if it is true

I never rode a pair but there whole image was never very professional to me. Their website looked bad and the graphics on their skis looked like they were made in microsoft paint. I'm sure they made great planks but visually they needed work. They also had a lack luster team, especially after delorme left. Look at their competitors, other microbrew ski companies like on3p, icelantic, and surface. They have great teams, a clear image, and good skis. And by good, i mean you get what you pay for.

this is one of the most ignorant posts I've ever read. all companies start out small. Rossi, Volkl, Salomon, and others didn't start out with millions of dollars. they started small, as every company does.

But Armadas, Atomic, Völkl, K2, Head? They all make banger skis.
Also, some brands are just to deep in the game to go away and some brands are to limited to make it.
If the mentioned brands, except Armada tho, would stop making race skis they would go out of buisiness sooner or later as well.
It's all business unfortunetly, you either make it or break it, go for the big market and stay clear, or go for the small market and risk it all, and so far, the only non-mainstream type of skiing brand that has REALLY made it is Armada(no source), and they sell outerwear in addition. And Line for that part, but they're not on the same scale kind of ish as Armada(I know Line is older, but really, who are the biggest?).
But they both made it because they've managed to stay in the game for so long and so deep.

Why the fuck would he feel like shit? I'm sure him leaving was not the make or break for that company, it was probably already on the ropes. No one bought their ski's except for when they were practically giving them away for what amounted to raw material/production cost.

they probably talked to adam about it, the last thing a really talented skiier would need was to be going out looking desperate after his own ski company closed their doors. he woud of had a harder time getting picked up is my guess.

Fat-ypus made great twigs but wasn't doing anything too, too ground breaking to steal some spotlight time. I feel like you gotta do something radical on at least 1 of your models to steal some spotlight time to stay afloat. I remember when the real deal JJ came out for Armada, I never heard of Armada at the time, but after riding the JJ and seeing what they were doing with the elf shoe and early rise, made me jump on the Armada train pretty quick,

They all started little but without the competition that it is today, of course if you have a deal or something its better your way but remember big brands kick out smaller brands with just being years in the bussines , not for making really good skis , small brands put love on every ski , big brands just make skis massive. Thats why a bunch o new brands like on3p , faction , batalla etc are making good quality skis , and youre not just one more client of millions, Retards like you just start skiing like 2 days ago because its cool
