185 foot inbounds cliff drop

I saw a edit a couple weeks ago that was from a movie that was shot entirely inbounds at some resort or maybe resorts and there were a ton of people in it and one guys sends a 185 foot cliff. I think it was on the main page at some point... can someone help me out with this?

Cliffs get unlandable after a certain height. Hot tub to hopefully riding it out. Your body wouldn't like too much of you took that to your feet

It's cool and all but it gets boring. It just takes a shit ton of balls to hop off something huge and hot tub into pow. I'd way rather watch pep do a 180 off a decent sized cliff anyday

yea that's pretty ridiculous. That first backflip they talked about was crazy too. His head came so close to the rocks.

Its true that this kind of thing doesn't take a lot of actual skill, but if you don't think it's fun to watch your crazy. I remember I just about shat my pants the first time I watched Todd Ligare's segment in one for the road, and Julian Carr blows my mind almost everytime he pops up in a video. That shit is so dope, because It should not be possible, but it is, and thats fucking awesome.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's awesome too. I'm stoked that there are guys out there willing to do this crazy shit. But have you seen Julian Carr's season edit? It's basically just the same thing over and over and almost stops feeling like skiing and more like base jumping. And that's neat and all but watching Wiley do a switch 5 off a massive cliff and stomp the fuck out of it is loads more entertaining to me

He's been doing that for years. I saw a warren miller a few years ago, he was doing the same huck huge cliff to back. It takes major balls and skill but I personally don't find it a cool to watch as people sending smaller cliffs (still 50+ feet) and stomp it

Same shit happens with kayaking. Tyler Bradt spent major time and effort scouting the 180ish ft world record waterfall drop. Shortly after running the drop, a dude on a innertube did the same thing...and didn't die!

Less balls, more about skill to not die. That pow didn't really look that deep, his crater was 3 feet deep tops, and a 185' drop gets you going super fast (that height into water can be deadly), he was most likely sore for the next week, or month. One hell of a shot. It's not as pretty as pep but much more impressive in my opinion.

This is not true. This takes an INCREDIBLE amount of skill, knowledge, and experience. Have you ever been BASE jumping? Air awareness when your dropping is completely different then hitting a jump, or even a 40 foot cliff. You're affected by much more then you would think, such as wind resistance. And going that big, and landing perfectly the way he wanted, to be able to live is incredibly skillful. Then take into account knowing where rocks in the landing are, actually having the speed to make it to the landing and land where he wanted, knowing the snow conditions and how your body is going to impact the ground are things that very few people in the world understand. Fortunately Julian does and we get to watch him kill it!
