Has anyone here ever won a significant amount of money off a scratch ticket? I have been hearing lots of stories lately about people who just get lucky and win like a couple thousand or hundred thousand bucks off these things.
My old roommate won 35,000 but I don't know of anyone else winning anything too substantial. I myself lose every time and think they're a huge waste of money
I'm no mechanic but I would think putting money in your gas tank could cause some problems, then you're really spending money. I'd rather buy the scratch off...
If you're so cheap/poor that you have to decide between a scratch-off lottery ticket and a half gallon of gasoline, you should probably just buy a bus pass or a bike.
Why the fuck do people buy them everyday? Even when they win a lot of them aren't even winning back the money they've put in. Ain't nobody got time for that
If you have to even think twice about a $2 purchase, you're doing something wrong. On a related note, if you have to fill up your car with $2 worth of fuel at a time, you're definitely doing something wrong.
local casino used to have free pull tabs night where they would give away 10 free pull tabs. usually you would come away with $2. and on tuesday nights that was enough for a game of bowling. so I would do that. that was pretty fun.
No, you're still wrong. Your trolling logic doesn't negate the fact that lottery tickets are useless in my opinion. So spending $2 on something useless is
stupid. Therefore, spend it on something useful. For example, gas. Where are lottery tickets sold a lot of the time? Gas stations. A little extra gas for when your pockets get a little light instead of wasting money on scratch-offs.
If you act like you don't need to worry about money and you are always right, that makes you a lying, trolling, cunt.
