2014 FIFA World Cup

We are 100 days out of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

I'm pretty excited. Even though USA is in a group of death if we can make it out we have a good shot of going beyond the first round of elimination. We've got a strong team and a good chance of doing better than any other cup.

The first 10 minutes were sloppy as fuck for both teams. Definitely has gotten much better since then.

I'm neutral this game, and don't really care who wins. I knew that Nigeria was going to be aggressive from the get go, we'll just have to see if France has the desire to stay in it.

Yup. Definitely thought that was going in. France is really not playing all that well. They got so much quality they need to put Nigeria away in the first 15 if the second half

France seemed to be taking it easy the first 65 minutes, but put their foot to the pedal the last 25 and put the game away. I guess the question for them is if they can play the way they did the last 25 minutes today for a full 90 against Germany or Algeria.

Apparently FIFA have decided that, despite openly admitting to diving, they are not going to do anything to punish Robben. So I guess FIFA has stopped even pretending they give a single fuck about fair play anymore. So corrupt.

Since when did Odenwingie become so good? Looked the danger man for Nigeria imo.

Also I think France matches up well with Germany. France seems to have problems with the speed demon wingers hitting crosses and pace is the one category Germany is sort of missing. Also the midfield battle would be incredibly tight and entertaining.

Drives me nuts. I have no confidence with the German wingbacks. The French speed could be very deadly if Germany makes it through this

Why won't Muller fix his socks!? Doesn't he know how hard it is to kick or control a ball with the shinguard right at the very bottom of your ankle like that? Does he even wear shinguards?
