2014 FIFA World Cup

We are 100 days out of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

I'm pretty excited. Even though USA is in a group of death if we can make it out we have a good shot of going beyond the first round of elimination. We've got a strong team and a good chance of doing better than any other cup.

Without the performances of Tim Howard and Omar Gonzalez, we would be losing 0-2 at least so far.

That own goal in the other game was horrible.

bradley has been poor, that last touch was awful, though he's not as bad as he was against ghana.

but gonzales is way better than cameron. that's been the difference so far.

No. Even a bad Michael Bradley is better than anyone else we'd put in that position. He's had some bad touches in the offensive third, but has been clean in the defensive half, where it really counts. Until he starts giving the ball away in positions where Germany are dangerous, he absolutely should not come off.

yeah sorry but you guys saying to take bradley out are so off the ball. he's made some high key mistakes but you don't just take him off right now because of that. i'd love to see him show everyone by making a huge pivotal play or goal

why wouldnt you whistle it dead after the beasley foul once US lost possession immediately? That's why beckerman went hard

Ref has fucked up a lot of calls today esepcially when its comes to playing possession

Yup. The last screwup, the players were confused. The ref is inconsistent and is not making his calls apparent. Not to mention completely being blind as fuck, but that's a different story.

There is a difference between hoping, and truly believing ;)


but if you actually did, good for you. I will be the first to admit they shocked me by beating Ghana, surprised me by almost beating Portugal, and then did exactly what I expected against Germany.

It look like at times Germany was just toying with the ball and did not truly want to score 1,2, or even 3 more.

really? i think the opposite. once they scored they seemed to get a bit more aggressive, which make sense cause then they had a little breathing room

i liked that germany didnt pull any punches today and we still held our own. good looks for the US making it thru this group stage against tough odds
