It's a well designed website and even though there is no hard info, someone took some time to build that website. They also spent a lot of money getting all those big ass celeb names on the product. It all seems too expensive for a BTTF 4 ad campaign.

what about this website makes you feel like this is THE thing that pushes it "overboard"?

amount of work needed for this website: 1-2 h, i mean there is nothing on there. 1 video, 1 picture, a few links and a little bit of text.

however, amount of work needed to fake this video with all the shadows/greenscreen and whatnot: DEFINITELY A LOT MORE THAN THAT.

if, at all, something puts this overboard, its the video. certainly not the website.

as other mentioned, its some kind of marketing gag for whatever.

As far as spoofs go for a product, this is pretty big. The names they pulled for this are impressive and probably cost a lot of money. I just haven't heard anything for a new back to the future so this is pretty much coming out of nowhere. I understand it's unrealistic... but I still want it to be real.

seriously dude, i am a pretty awful web programmer, but if you paypal me 200$ you can have such a "well-designed" website before you go to sleep today.

a regular web programmer probably would take easily a few thousands for that shit, but thats not the point.

still nothing too expensive for a movie (which probably would cost in the high 7 digits).
