Seeing the build up of a mega resort in Sochi had me thinking, where could the next Whistler pop up and have the best ski terrain? Think outside the box, another Wasatch or Sierra resort isn't very creative.
For me its here, the Ives Peak area in Goat Rock Wilderness in WA. Lots of big, natural terrain, consistently deep snowpack, decent access, and high in elevation.
