Just had the worst beat in poker EVER...

Here is how it went down:
Preflop I am first to act with KK in $2-$5 NL holdem. I raise to $100. Fold, fold, Reraise me to $600. fold around to me and I put him all in at about $1200+ and he calls. He has AQ suited vs my KK. Flop comes out and I see an ace on top and am not happy. Then the dealer slides out KK and Im very happy. turn A which scares me but Im still happy. River A so he has quad As over my quad Ks. So, I lost about $1200 on that suck out. That is nowhere near the worst part. The bad beat jackpot is at $112k. Which is any quads that get beat. However, both parties must play both cars in their hand. So, since he only played his 1 A, we missed out on it. I would have won that pot of $2400+ and 50% or the bad beat jackpot which would have been $56k. Worst hand I have ever seen or played.
I walked out up a few hundred after than but am not too happy how that turned out.

You're a fucking dickhead and should be kicked out of the casino if you continually hide your large denomination chips.

At any casino I have played at, you have to keep your highest denomination visible. It is a pretty standard rule around here at least.
Also a stack of 18 and a stack of 20 may look similar, but I don't care if I'm off by 2 on each stack. I still roughly know how much they have. Also, most people don't need to hide the amount of chips they have. They win by outplaying someone, not by using tricks.
I only saw one bad beat jackpot. This one missed and the odds are crazy to get a bad beat jackpot, but I play a lot and it happens about every 2-3 months, so being there when it happens isn't like winning the lottery. With 10 tables in action with about 90 or so people there and dealers trying to maximize hands per hour (since they get tipped per hand) you are there for a lot of hands. I was not at the table for the one that I saw.

hiding them would be putting them in my pocket.
putting them at the bottom of columns at the back of my stack is not only legal, but pretty smart imo.

plus, any player at anytime can ask what i have left.
so technically, its not hiding anything at all.

Yes it's only a dickhead move if you don't give a rough count when someone asks.
At the casino I go to, it is illegal, you have to keep your highest denominations visible. I think this is for poker room bosses and dealers more than player ease.
I don't do it, but, if you give a count to players asking then I don't have a problem with it. Also, a lot of people like to look intimidating and show their high denominations, so it is a preference thing.
