Looking for a little confirmation here, or insight
I love skiing bumps and in the spring there are days I ski nothing but bumps (killington late season). Center mounted ar7s work pretty well but I the tails get hung up so easily and make lines super sloppy
Ive heard that old straight skis are a good option if you want to seriously ski bumps, so im trying to find a pair on ebay. However, im 5'4" and most straight skis are in the 190cm range. I found a pair thats 165cm, but I cant find any information about them. Is a vintage 165cm ski basically a kids ski and will completely suck for moguls? Or will these things be an absolute blast with fks on them?
for reference I currently ride 171 ar7s, and im pretty sure I would welcome shorter skis as a dedicated bump ski.
