San diego/pacific beach

going here this summer for a few days with a few friends. were all 18 though, how strict are the bars with fake ids? suggestions for what we should do if theres no chance of us getting into bars? suggestions on what to do in california in general? well be here on a road trip so we can go wherever, all ideas are welcome.

Get some beach cruisers and ride around San Diego. Go get some authentic Mexican food. Drive 20 minutes south to Tijuana and get free tequila, pass out, and get mugged.

go into the most ghetto convenience store you can find, buy all the liquor you can carry, give them a $5 tip and they won't give a fuck if you're 13 years old

Go hang out on Coronado for a day, go to a baseball game, go to carlsbad and go go karting at k2 speed. There is so much shit to do in San Diego. If you want to go to bars drive to Tijuana. It's not far at all from San Diego, take a day trip down there get wasted, pick pocketed, and swindled by a tranny.

just chill on the beach with burritos, pot, and lots of IPAs. bring a guitar and wear tank tops to pull babes.

but really, most san diego bars are pretty strict about IDs, and watch out for DUI checkpoints on weekends.

Only if your passport/ID gets stolen, which probably will happen.

Go to beach and surf, the water should be warm depending on the month.

You have no chance at the bars, they're strict. Nightlife is centered around the 21+ crowd but if you're in Mission you can probably get some house parties going with other vacationers.

If you're staying on the board walk you can probably just pull in girls from there.

Eat Mexican food at Oscar's.

TJ is like 30 minutes from there and I wouldn't suggest driving in because the border line can be 4+ hours coming back. All you need is a passport to walk across, the line can be kind of returning unless you have global entry. Some good clubs, but can be sketchy if you don't know what you're doing or speak spanish or are going with a local.

I live about an hour and a half from from SD and go there from time to time, bars/nightclubs will be as strict as anywhere else, but you should be able to have just as good of a time going to the beach and kickin it with booze and weed...Plus there are always hot babes chyllin n SD

im in San Diego right now. the bars downtown are really strict on IDs. I'm almost 26 and don't look young and they grilled mine. that being said it's an amazing place and so much fun.
