Replying to Why so much gangster music?

Why do so many play "I'm a bad ass "n" word" music on their edits?  It's been like that for a long time.  I could understand more if they were Blacks from Compton, Bronx etc. etc.
I'm sure this has been asked before.
I enjoy some good beats, so don't get me wrong, but why do you play that stuff?
Is it because you think you are all bad ass gangsters who want to be black?
Or is it to honer the Black Gangster Rap community?
I remember getting Dr. Dre's Chronic years ago.  I still love it plus others.  I just don't understand all the N-word shit all the time.  It's really getting old.
