I've been using SPKs since 2008. Bought my second pair 2 seasons ago. Love the boots, they fit great yadda yadda yadda. 2 weeks ago (before a broke my arm) the piece of padding that goes behind the calf broke around the metal piece that holds it in place, basically all the plastic cracked and broke. Also, the plastic pieces on the pull chords that keep them tight have broke. Mind you, these boots have less than 40 days on them. Anybody else have these problems? Does anybody know I'm Salomon warranties this kinds of things?
You'll need to take them to an authorized Salomon dealer along with your receipt and they will contact Salomon for you. Do not try to email or call Salomon directly.
As one nerdy says you could warrantie them but it may just be easier to get them fixed. The laces use the same quick lace lock as the salomon quick lace shoes. Spare lace kits are easily available and you could fix it yourself. The spoiler may be a little harder. Has the full spoiler broken into two? If so then you need to find a new one. Does not need to be an spk one most salomon ones should fit ok. So either take them to a dealer and send to warrantie so long a they are within the period or just fix them in shop for maybe 15 bucks.
