steezburgereddieIve narrowed down my choices to the two jeffreys. I went to a shop to look at the two. I like the amount of rocker and camber on the 122 but i dont think i will need the extra width. Should i get the 122 or 114?

avocado.feel much more comfortable on wider, rockered skis.
Literatureflat camber underneath on the 122
LiteratureHmmm. There's a couple questions here.
When you say you don't need the extra width, are you looking to keep weight down? Or are you skiing someplace where 122 is too much but 114 is just right?
When you talk about the rocker/camber profile differences, are you wanting the flat camber underneath on the 122, or just more float?
iggyskierWhere are you skiing? Do you have an everyday ski?
division.bell...there it is again.
steezburgereddieI do prefer flat underneath and im not too concerned about weight.
I only have a park ski because there is not alot of snow where im from. I recently moved so i will be skiing in banff.
LiteratureMy bad captain. I missed the discussion a few pages back.
It's recently come our attention that the website is wrong on the flat camber on the Jeffery 122. As reflected in the cad drawing just next to the label, there's 1mm of camber per ski. Which is pretty dang minimal. I was going off the website.
There's a lot of numbers and other factoids every year, so it's just going to happen. We'll fix that.
LiteratureAs I mentioned above, the Jeffery 122 actually has 1mm of camber per ski. Pretty negligible.
But here's my thought: if you haven't skied a bigger pow ski before, you'll certainly notice a difference in how they lean over in a turn. Camber in the middle adds both rebound and a little more bite to help the sidecut, so it can actually be really nice as opposed to a completely flat midsection.
Bottom line: go 114, because it's plenty for Banff and less weight. Perhaps you'll be impressed by how the camber helps.
MartianManSo if the 122 has about 1mm of camber, does the 114 have more than 1mm considering it is said to have 1mm in the description?
LiteratureWhich description are you reading?
MartianManPretty sure I read on here somewhere back that the 114 had 1mm of camber. Could be wrong, though.

PudgeI wanna see some OG and new GC side by side
daveyjonescan anyone tell me what the jeffrey 114 recommended mount position is?
Matt.HAny update as to when a pair of grizzly kartel 106s may ship?
iggyskierVery soon. Almost all the GC skis are now pressed and in finishing.
brotoDo you guys do shipping confirmation emails? Not a pressing issue, just curious if I should be waiting for one before I expect a package.

J.D.So pretty. Cannot wait for Steeple 112 version.
I don't even know if I like the original better or the new one. They're both amazing.

steezy_dogecan someone tell me how the weight is on the filthy rich? thinking of getting some next season
daveyjones

steezy_dogei know i have seen that but i mean how does there weight compare to other skis in feeling. just a raw number doesnt help me visualize how much they weigh i have atomic infamous so like how is there weight compared to them
HeadyTopperI'm looking for an all mountain ski that still performs well in the park. I want to ski 50% park and 50% glades and shit like Tuckerman Ravine. Could I center mount a Kartel 106 to be the best fit for my style of riding?
*cgski*i wouldnt center mount them if your planning on only doing 50% park
HeadyTopperWhat about 60% park? I just wanna still be able to spin and do rails
brotoMounting them even 4 cm back would not hindwe your ability to do those things...
My 10/11 jmos are mounted at 2.5 back and I skied 80% park on them. Never a problem.

This my JMO's are like 2 back and still rip the park. But getting a 106 waist ski and mounting it center would be a little silly IMO, maybe get the kartel 98s then mount them center and they would be better for park. 106 is going to be a little much to spin rails and mounting 106 center would not be as fun on pow days and ripping the mountain
Mr.PenguinI've heard rumors of a possible web video of an On3p trip to Japan...please tell me this is true.
