Forgive me if this has already been asked and answered elsewhere or if it is just a silly question. But how different will next years Jeffrey122 feel flexwise compared to the Caylors?

No more pillowfights, that sucks. The entire lineup looks great though guys I love this direction. I cant decide between the kartel's, but im deff. gona be purchasing one of them.

I think in the 14/15 gear thread there was a member who had demoed all of next year's line, you could ask him. I don't think it has been answered.

If the flex is the same then it is nearly the same exact ski

There are going to be pillowfights, they just didnt have a prototype they were happy with for SIA so they are planning on doing a seperate reveal for the new pillowfights when theyre ready.  With that being said, Im planning on grabbin a pair of the new filthy riches.

Very similar. Least changed ski of all the new changes. Jeffrey 122 is a touch stiffer.

Love my Jeffs. Only thing that can make them better for "me" is if they had a bit more flex.  Will the 106 Kartel be the answer?

Not to sidecut and flex. We might be making one change to the core construction to strengthen the tips, though we are still testing it. Otherwise the same. Ski is really dialed as is.

Depending on where I end up for school next year (MSU or somewhere on the East most likely) I will be saving up for the Jeffery 122's or Steeple 112's. Either way I am pumped the new line looks delicious.

presters and possibly jeffery 114, ive got a question im looking for a pow ski that is real soft and i can butter around on in pow, im 150 and coming off of blends for my all mountain ski, i want something with similar flex but in the area of 110-115 underfoot, would the jeffery 114 be good?

I'm curious- how does the Kartel 98 compare the the Jmo of a few years ago (11-12) with the 96 waist? Dimensions seem pretty similar in the 181s, 126/96/120 TR 21.4 vs 127/98/120 TR 20.5. Not sure about rocker, sidecut, weight...

The new line up is so damn sick. I will for sure be picking up some 191 Jeffrey 122's to fill the hole from the 191 Grizzlycorn Caylors that I wish I never sold, and then some Steeple 112's (either 189's or 184's) for A/T use.

Would be awesome to see a Grizzlycorn comeback or revision for 14/15! I'd be down for a pair for certain!

They are going to be fairly similar. The older Jmo was a bit stiffer and had a slightly more progressive flex. The Kartel is going to butter a bit better and be a bit more playful and park oriented.

Weight should be lighter on the new model, but I don't remember the weight of the 11/12 Jmo off the top of my head.

The sidecut is going to be a bit tighter on the Kartel, but not much.

Similar rocker.

Definitely similar skis, but the Kartel 98 is just a bit more park influenced.

We don't make skis that I would describe as real soft, so if you are looking for something super buttery I would probably look towards a K2 Shreditor 112 or something similar. All of our skis have a backbone and even our softest skis I would describe as medium to medium-stiff in flex.

That said, I don't think the skis would be a bad fit. You would get used to them over time, and the performance when you are not butter is going to be a lot more stable and supportive.

The rocker is going to help you butter for sure, but if you are looking at something that is "real soft" I would look elsewhere. If you want something that you can butter with, but will remain stable at speed, the Jeffrey 114 is a great fit.

I will have to see if we can get more done.

Honestly...I wouldn't many pairs of GC tops to be available We made that updated graphic up to put on the skis of a few friends. We might make a very very small number of them available publicly, but nothing is final as of yet.

another question. whatre your guys' policies for requesting a different top sheet design on a sheet? if i remember correctly (and i very well may not) you guys used to allow people to get Jmos with say the billy goat or wren graphics. is that still the case? i ask because the only thing greater than my desire for 98 kartels is my desire for 98 kartels with this years pillowfight graphics

We've really tried to shift away from that, largely because we are doing much higher production volumes than we used to and custom work tends to slow us down.

That said, we get those requests a ton and have been thinking about potentially doing a limited custom option once per year. It would be on a very limited basis, likely in the spring during production, for summer/fall delivery. It is nothing more than an idea at the moment and I don't know at this point if it will become anything more than that, but it is something we are considering.

if you guys do end up doing some sort of custom option thatd be awesome. im assuming this is an idea that would not be implemented (if it is at all) til next year? id likely not have enough dough in time to get em this spring anyway but if you did it next year id get on that like LJ Strenio on a Krispy Kreme donut
